It’s been a stressful few days, and I don’t have it in me to write a long blog post today. So I decided to do a “weekend links” post, with a few things I’ve read recently about habits.
- Courtney Carver wrote on her Be More With Less blog about something called Habit Stacking and loved the concept.
- I heard about this idea by listening to an interview with Courtney on a new podcast I recently stumbled on, at Value of Simple. (And there are a lot of neat resources at this site I’m just beginning to delve into.)
- I found an interesting book and website at The Habit Factor. Also enjoying perusing his articles.
- When it comes to changing habits and setting goals, Gretchen Rubin at The Happiness Project asks, Do You Prefer to Aim Big or Small?
Joel Zaslofsky says
I’m a big fan of Courtney’s and habit stacking too. In fact, I’ve had a moderate level of success with habit stacking as a result of listening to her talk and reading more about it.
Thanks for the mention, Carrie! I’m glad you’re digging some of the stuff I’m doing ’round the Internet. 🙂
