5 quick things Friday because I WAS going to do 5 things I’m loving lately, but then couldn’t think of 5 things, but I also wanted to do a roundup post, so this here is a mash-up of memes.
Ha!
Things I’m loving lately is a round up of small things that give me an outsized boost of happiness.
My Turkish Towels
In my ongoing efforts to reduce the amount of laundry I do AND make things prettier, I have started buying these thin, quick-drying Turkish towels, one for each member of the household.
I LOVE them.
They dry super fast, unlike regular towels. This is an important benefit for those who live in my clime. Towels in these parts get moldy smelling FAST because of the humidity.
They’re also cute enough to be throw blankets and actually look adorable tossed over the couch. I end up grabbing one each morning to snuggle up with while I drink my coffee and do my early morning routine.
And because everyone has their own color/stripe pattern, I know EXACTLY who left their towel on the floor. (Important when you have several kiddos. Knowing who to yell at saves your energy!)
Essential Oils
Seriously. I’ve been using oils for almost 20 years, but recently started making it a habit to atomize oils every single day. I bought a second atomizer so that there’s one in my bedroom/office, another in my living room (and the kids can borrow it if they need to).
I eventually want one for each room in the house.
Also, a little reminder about And Then We Saved’s Spending Fast Boot Camp! I mentioned more about this here. If you’re struggling in your debt-free journey or simply want some help sticking to a budget or reducing your spending in order to meet a financial goal!
Speaking of debt, an article I wrote several months ago for Making Sense of Cents was published today: How we paid off $86K in 5 years with 7 kids.
Enjoy your weekend!
