Weekend Wrap-up

Worried about your investments losing value? This should help: Finally, a stock market crash! (I’m always happy to share an article from my internet crush Mr Money Mustache.)

Loving the Hulu true crime drama series Under the Banner of Heaven. Andrew Garfield is excellent as a Mormon cop who is experiencing doubts about his faith while investigating a murder inside the LDS community.

Have you seen the Earthing movie? I’ve had a practice of walking barefoot on the earth for years. But but after watching the movie, I decided to get a bit more serious about earthing, so I invested in this 3-pack grounding mat and got these grounding flip-flops free.

I’ll follow up if using these products helps me with some of my health issues.

ALDI had chicken leg quarters on sale .55/lb. I cooked this and it was simple and delicious.
Frugal, fast and tasty is my ”name what matters” for food. If you havent read The Lazy Genius kitchen, you should! More on that later.

From my archives: simple bullet journaling – I started a new page in my BuJo (technically referred to as a ”collection” in BuJo parlance).

Each day I jot down the primary 3 emotions I felt. This helps me see how my emotions change (and therefore none is permanent), which helps me not get too worried that a so-called ”negative emotion” will stick around more than a couple of days. Naming, then writing down, the emotion helps me be more of an observer and react to the feeling less.
