A few things I enjoyed from around the web last week:
Modern Mrs. Darcy launched her 2017 Reading Challenge. This time she has two paths to choose from: reading for fun, or reading for growth, with free goodies to help you with both.

The Minimalists documentary is now available on Netflix! I loved this movie. I’ve been a big fan of Ryan and Joshua for almost 4 years now, and was able to meet them in person 3 years ago. It’s exciting to see how their blog has grown and the impact they’re having.

How Frugality Has Ruined Us – I had to chuckle at this because I recognize much of its sentiments. Thrift stores have ruined me too, and I totally get the part about not being able to eat out. When we do it, it’s very much a rare treat, because so often I find the expenditure just isn’t worth it, and I can make tastier food at home.

Another gem from Mr. Money Mustache (and not just for the eye candy) – and I’m fairly certain there are no swears in this post, but I can’t guarantee it!: Staying Fit with No Gym in Sight. Hear, hear! Fitness should be a part of life, and why cardio for weight loss is a waste of time.

This week I launched a free e-course called Make Time For You: finding time for your passions and goals during the busy child-rearing years. Go see me talk about it and to sign up.
