1 – Today I went to the local kid’s consignment shop to get Josiah a few shirts. I had a pieces to sell to them as well.
We arrived before the store opened and stood outside waiting. Another mom was also waiting and she had several large containers full of girl’s clothing. I asked her if I could take a look at her stuff, eliminating the middleman.
She agreed. I got several nice clothing and shoes items for both little girls.
2 – The consignment shop paid me $8 cash for three things I brought in.
3 – I defrosted leftover Indian Butter Chicken for dinner last night. I find that leftovers that are served days or weeks later aren’t viewed as such. I made rice and spiced green beans on the side.
4 – I put a bunch of odds and ends into the slow cooker for Vegetable-Beef soup.
5 – I shipped several books through BookMooch and PaperBackSwap, earning free book credits
6 – I took my son to Urgent Care for a scary-looking wound on his foot. Turns out he had cellulitis and had to take a big penicillin shot in the booty.
Though I grumble about high insurance premiums, keeping health insurance is a bargain. Somebody goes to the doctor weekly around here, and we’re a very healthy bunch!
