Read Aloud Roundup

Read aloud roundup is where I share great books I’ve read with my kids lately. Here are a few we enjoyed last week.

read aloud roundup

This is Not My Hat

A small fish steals a hat and thinks he got away with it, but eventually learns that crime doesn’t pay. (This one is sneaky, you have to pay close attention to catch the action!)

A Sick Day for Amos McGee

A faithful, beloved zookeeper can’t come in to work one day. What happens next is pure sweetness.

The House in the Night

If you love Goodnight Moon and poems with cumulative patterns, you’ll love this spare book about night time. Great for the youngest little ones with shorter attention spans.

Thanks! Just requested them all from the library. My little love Chris Van Dusen books, their favorite being “If I Built a House.”
